Absolutely fantastic accommodation. We were attending the Arena Eventing at Aston le Walls Equestrian Centre & The Bothy was perfectly placed for access to there & the livery yard our pony was staying. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay if we are in the area again.

Australian author Kenneth Turnball and
his wife stayed with us in August 2018,
while they were working on their exciting
new book about Scotland's majestic history
and the fascinating and historic walking trails along the country's borders. Here they are enjoying one of our lunches!
In August 2018 we were booked by a lovely couple
who had come back to the UK to visit family after emigrating many years' before. It was quite an
emotional trip for them but immensely enjoyable.
It was a pleasure to have them as guests, and they
emailed us when back home to say "we greatly
appreciated the warmth of your hospitality!"
